Background
Designs For Education are specialists in developing innovative products for the Early Years and Childcare sector supplying a wide range of school classroom furniture, nursery play equipment throughout the UK.
Design Brief
To produce an 80 page, A4 landscape product catalogue displaying the entire range.
Products to be divided into three specific age use applications and categories.
To develop a completely new layout style optimising the size of product and application images throughout the space of a landscape format.
To highlight special offers using tasteful eye-catching graphics.
Design Solution
A twelve column grid structure adopted to maximise aesthetic layout appearance.
Existing and new photography retouched where appropriate with clean white backgrounds and soft drop shadows to improve image clarity when combined with other product images.
Large radius corners used with feature images to soften overall layout appearance.
Inclusion of clear call to action and contact information throughout all the pages.
